Seths Blog was introduced to us by a freind a while back and has become a regular on our daily blog list. His most recent post is extremely funny and extremely true for a lot of bloggers… check it.
I’ve really neglected this blog. The site has been around for about 5 years now (6 if you include the time before I bought the URL) and it continues to cycle through the phases
* Phase 1: Feel bad for not updating the blog and try to write something, anything.
* Phase 2: The juices get flowing and I actually write some decent material.
* Phase 3: Something pulls my attention away and I begin to neglect the blog again.
* Phase 4: To try and turn things around, I start copying and pasting things like quotes to keep it alive.
* Phase 5: Blog is neglected for a long period.
Each time phase 5 is reached, I go back to phase 1 at some point. So here I am at phase 1 blathering about nothing so that I can get something on the page. Stay tuned for phase 2, the bestest phase ever!
Taxing Miles Traveled - WFT?

The State of Oregon is considering an in-state Mileage Tax. C’mon, how ridiculaous is this. After reading through several articles, many supporters claim this will be used to “help highway funding”, Yeah Right. This would require every vehicle in that state to be equipped with GPS, and it might come out of their pockets. So, basically, They want to make sure the more eco-friendly we become, purchasing more cars that consume less gas, that they’re still make their money. They want to charge people for going out to do daily errands. You know, drop of the kids, go the movies, go grocery shopping, and the dozens of other little responsibilities we have to tend to in our daily lives. Obama is against this and so are we.
